Director of Turn The Page Counselling
Joanna is a registered member of the BACP and has both a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy from The University of Salford. Joanna offers person-centered and integrative counselling approaches, often using CBT, Solution focused and Play/Art Therapy which means that she can fully tailor her sessions to each individual client.
Joanna has worked with Children, young people and their families for over 13 years. Her passion for her work shines through and building trusting relationships with clients is ultimately her strength. Joanna is able to work with children from age 5 along with supporting older teens and adults. Joanna's work can often be with children, young people and adults with additional needs. She has experience of working with clients with ADHD and those on the Autistic spectrum. Supporting those with SEN needs is something very close to her heart.
Her work within numerous schools across Cheshire, Halton, Stockport and Manchester has skilled her to work alongside not only young people, but teachers and parents within her private practice work, now based in Great Moor, Stockport.
Joanna loves supporting the team she is privileged to work with. As a busy single mum of two young children she understands the need for good self-care and a healthy work-life balance.
All Turn The Page counsellors have cleared DBS, full safeguarding awards and liability insurance.
